chasing shadows

i was on my way home the other day when i saw this gorgeous tree, stripped of most it's leaves, in front of this old north facing wall, casting the strongest shadow it could on a wintery day. pattern & shadow.

  5. beautiful! i am lucky enough to have a similar shadow cast on our living room white blinds every sunny morning lately. im normally a blinds up as soon as im up kind of girl, but have been leaving them down much of the morning to soak in the image...it is like having one wall covered in a moving shadow artwork. lulux

  7. I saw one like that recently from the car and wondered if it was painted onto the side of the building or the shadow from a tree.
